The following dishes are served on platters and in bowls on the table:
Oretikà – a selection of Greek starters:
Marinated jumbo olives, aubergines, courgette and bell pepper,
Marinated feta cubes, dolmadákia – stuffed wine leaves,
Fried cuttlefish strips with garlic dip,
Fáva – yellow pea paste, gígantes plakí – baked giant beans,
Choriátiki saláta – Greek farmer’s salad, tzatziki
The above are served with Greek country bread, bannockbread and salted butter.
Arni sto fóurno – braised leg of lamb,
Lemon-and-thyme chicken in a Mediterranean tomato sauce,
Tuna with big tomatoes and oven-baked celery,
Moussaka – potato-and-aubergine bake,
Biftéki me tiri – brochettes of meatballs and feta,
Kritharaki –noodle rice, thyme potatoes

Bugatsa – semolina cake with thin pastry,
Ekmek – vanilla cream with almonds,
yoghurt-and-lime mousse with fruits
